Fly fishing with PikexFly in North Dakota

Back in May, I spent a couple of days fly fishing for Northern Pike with my friend and owner of PikexFly in Western North Dakota. Bob is an excellent guide and I always have a blast fishing with him. The huge tug on the fly and the fight that ensues when a big Pike attacks is a thrill that cannot be understated. I haven’t had the pleasure of catching a 40+ inch Pike, but Bob has sent me countless photos of him with those large beasts.

My arm got tired from the 12 hours of casting so I took a breather and some photos of Bob as he was fishing.
